Cecil O’Dell’s mission is to go further together in bringing the good news of Jesus to the least-reached people of Japan. After spending 17 years in Japan, he and his family moved to California and launched the Japanese Returnee ministry. More than ever before, Encompass is recruiting and deploying global workers for Japan. In Cecil’s role as a ministry coach, he helps these new teammates sharpen their skills in sharing the gospel, gathering new believers into spiritual communities, and training local leaders so that over time, church-planting movements in Japan can flourish.
