POW Rescue

Mission Description:

Your mission objective is to break the POWs out of the prison camp.

After enemy units around the base are neutralized, destroy the upper and lower levels of the brick wall near the gate at WP1 so that the POWs can escape. When wall is down the Chinook will mobilize.

Protect the Chinook while returning to base.

If any POWs die, or if the Chinook gets shot down, red wins.

Loadout:

Standard loadout comprises 24 rockets, 8 stingers, 8 hellfires, cannon.

You have 0 artillery strikes and AWACS is not available.

Hint:

Use the cannon to take out targets near the prison, explosions from rockets may kill POWs.

How to install and play this mission:

1. Download the zip file to your computer.
2. Unzip the file to a temporary directory.
3. Copy the .bms, .til (if supplied) and .txt files to your Comanche 4 program file directory.
4. Delete the temporary directory.
5. Start the game, select 'Single Player' then 'Mission Archives', press the Enter key then scroll down the list and you'll find the mission.
