Heliport

Mission Description:

Your objective is to destroy the enemy Heliport at waypoint 1. But this isn't some piddly 2 or 4 chopper pad - how do odds of 96 against 1 sound? Ready to take the challenge?

The heliport is defended by armoured patrols on the ground and Hokum/Havoc/Hind units will harrass you in the air. There are no fixed-wing aircraft in this mission, you'll have enough on your hands without worrying about them!

Multiple FARP's are included so you'll always have one close, just be careful to sweep the area before you land or you'll get a nasty surprise while on the ground.

'Objective successful' messages will advise you when each enemy group has been destroyed. You must destroy all the enemy groups to win.

Loadout:

Air Attack - 32 Rockets,12 Stingers and cannon.
You have 0 artillery strikes but AWACS is available.

Hint:

You're well outnumbered so stealth and patience are the keys to winning this mission, don't go charging into the base or you'll have a dozen buzzin' baddies on yer tail before you can say WTF!

So hide in the hills and work on your pop-up technique. There's lots to shoot back at you in this mission so save your hellfires and stingers for when you really need them, guns will be best for most of the ground stuff.

How to install and play this mission:

1. Download the zip file to your computer.
2. Unzip the file to a temporary directory.
3. Copy the .bms, .til (if supplied) and .txt files to your Comanche 4 program file directory.
4. Delete the temporary directory.
5. Start the game, select 'Single Player' then 'Mission Archives', press the Enter key then scroll down the list and you'll find the mission.
